Transformation has been a theme in my life since I was 8 years old. At that age, my mother returned to school and later graduated from university. A single mother, she was an exceptional role model who demonstrated the power of identifying what you want and then driving change to achieve it. The lesson of Mum’s achievement that transformation is the one constant in life is the golden thread running through my own career. For decades, as a leader and mentor of people, I’ve reshaped the structures and environments around me to make my goals and the goals of others possible.

I got my first job in a supermarket during high school, and by the age of 20, I managed a team of 60 people who looked to me for counsel even then. Being brought into the head office kickstarted my HR career. For almost 20 years, in no particular order, I met goals, met the love of my life, graduated from university five weeks after my first of three sons was born, took a senior role at the Sydney head office and quickly built a reputation for leading work that influenced thousands across large, complex organisations.
